Every time I swat or scratch or call them “sh@tbugs”, I try to remember it’s more complicated than that.

Yes and no, it does remind me to find the value of beings, even those I don’t like! They are still a nuisance but not a worthless one!
I’m pretty sure some species think of humans in a similar vein…
